Good news for Waterford!

Attending a recent meeting with Waterford City and County council William Quinlan Auctioneers have learned that the North Quays and Michael Street Developments are in the later stages having passed a stress test, an application for additional funding has been made to Government and with a positive outcome there we may see new life flowing back into the streets of Waterford with over 110,000 sq ft of retail with the possibility of up to 2000 permanent jobs. Some of the works proposed will be the relocation of the train station right to the doorstep of the new shopping mall and a large car park with park and ride facilities.

Living city initiative has been extended to landlords of properties built prior to 1915 and within the special designated area in the city.
